Ed Fine Director of Investment Strategy

Ed Fine brings over 9 years of professional experience working with
individuals and institutions in portfolio construction and investment manage-
ment. At Baker Street, Ed is responsible for providing quantitative asset
allocation modeling and oversight of our investment management selections. Ed comes
to Baker Street having spent six years with Financial Engines, a firm founded by William
F. Sharpe, winner of the 1990 Nobel Prize in Economics for his work on the Capital Asset
Pricing Model. At Financial Engines, Ed designed and built investment portfolios for taxable
investors and analyzed these models within tax aware multi-account optimizations and
Monte Carlo simulations.

Prior to Financial Engines, Ed worked on institutional and hedge fund fixed income and
currency strategies for Pareto Partners. He earned a Master of Science in Applied Math-
ematics from California Institute of Technology and a B.A. in Physics and Mathematics from
Wesleyan University. In addition, Ed is a CFA Charterholder
